‘RDZ, Mangoma, Incites Villagers To Revolt Against Green Fuel Company In Chisumbanje’
While we categorically deny such malicious allegations we would like to once again state our position on the said land disputes in Chisumbanje , Marange, Chingwizi and Mazowe. That the government must take human life seriously ahead of individual business interests. Villlagers must be properly consulted and their interests addressed first before being relocated.
Zimbabweans have the right to land and therefore cannot be randomly and violently displaced by few greed business people in unclear circumstances.
In Chisumbanje thousands of Zimbabweans have been forced to cross into the neighbouring Mozambique after being forced off their land to settle one person , in Marange , Zimbabweans have also been unilaterally forced off their land to pave way for mining by some Chinese companies while in Mazowe the same happened in order to settle wild animals.
The Chingwizi crisis is still unresolved with citizens living in squalid conditions and losing their precious lives on daily basis .
RDZ would like to warn the government and its partners in crime to stop provoking innocent citizens by carrying out these illegal , uncivilized and unjust evictions. We also view the allegations as a the regime’s precursor to wanting to persecute and cow the RDZ leader and to confine him to courts.
